Meeting the stars of Kaabil
By Darren Haynes
He is Hrithik Roshan, one of the highest-paid actors in India and has won six Filmfare Awards; she is Yami Gautam, has appeared in numerous films and has proven her linguistic skills speaking six regional languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Kannada and Malayalam; and they are the Chhatwani family, the lucky winners of Novo Cinema’s January competition to meet the cast of ‘Kaabil’.
“We were amazed when we received the telephone call to say that we had won the opportunity to meet the cast” said Mr Tarachand Chhatwani, “all we did was book our tickets on the Novo website.”
Hrithik and Yami took time out of their busy ‘Kaabil’ promotional schedule to meet our competition winners in their hotel suite and were happy to pose for a photograph and have a quick chat.
“He’s just as good looking in real life” said Ms Komal Chhatwani. “He’s got very nice eyes” agreed her mother, Mrs Sapana Chhatwani.
‘Kaabil’ released at Novo Cinemas on 25 January 2017 and is already one of our favourite Bollywood films of the year. With Hrithik’s father, Rakesh, back in the director’s chair, maybe this family affair will be a good omen for both men during the Bollywood award season.
